St. Andrew's School Gym, May 24, 2003 -- Batch '91 used a balaned attack last night to beat Batch '84, 7X-4X (di
ko maalala ang score eh...basta 30 mahigit ata ang lamang). Everyone
was able to score.
Throughout the first half, Batch '91 couldn't pull away and saw 10
point leads being brought down to 5 or 6...until the 2nd half started.
The
turning point of the game was during the start of the 2nd half when
Gado lost his shoe in what seemed to be a shake&bake-crossover move he
was
trying to execute

The
turning point of the game was during the start of the 2nd half when

From that point, the 2nd half saw Batch '91 pulling away. With Mike
Mendoza & Vince Tabing, Jojo Austria & Ronald Pangan taking care of the
boards, Batch '91 was able to score on many fastbreak opportunities
anchored on guards Vince Samoy, Roel Rianzares, Don Sta. Agueda, Sandy
Kalugdan & Leo Oaper. It was also a good thing that Ronald Pangan got
his outside game going.
The ultimate shot came with just seconds away from the final
buzzer...when Gado hit a 3-point shot from the left corner. At that
point, the crowd went wild!!!
Next game will be on Saturday, 7:30PM, versus Batch '85.
